Not sure why, but I've been attracted to a bevvy of shoes recently that hit a couple branches falling off the ugly tree. I even bought a pair after thinking "wow, those are hideous. I have to have them!"
Still kicking myself for foregoing a $20 vintage see through frock in San Francisco. Visions of Jane Birkin were dancing in my head and what can I say? I dropped the ball...
Natalia Brilli's skull bags blow my mind. At the risk of sounding like the very spoiled Veruca Salt, I want it and I want it now. I wonder if she'll come out with a black suede one. That would be beyond obsessive worthy.
I've been in New York for slightly more than 24 hours and I'm already completely head over heels, butterflies in my stomach, totally and madly in love with the city. Spent last night hopping around the lower east side from Max Fish to Lit to the Hotel on Rivington and finally the Box with my bestie (reunited and it feels so good...) and getting up this morning (or shall I say afternoon) was a little rough. But I rallied and spent the day traipsing around Manhattan. Bought some "sensible" shoes (3 inch platforms are FAR more sensible than 5 inch platforms) for walking and a lace romper for sleepy time. Currently sending kisses to the craigslist employment gods. Wish me luck!
Images from tfs No matter where you're going, always pack a swimsuit. My mom gave me that advice years ago and, after absentmindedly leaving my bathing suit bottoms in San Diego during my recent trip, I wish I had double checked my suitcase. Visions of bikinis have been dancing in my head ever since.
