Breathless

I've been in New York for slightly more than 24 hours and I'm already completely head over heels, butterflies in my stomach, totally and madly in love with the city. Spent last night hopping around the lower east side from Max Fish to Lit to the Hotel on Rivington and finally the Box with my bestie (reunited and it feels so good...) and getting up this morning (or shall I say afternoon) was a little rough. But I rallied and spent the day traipsing around Manhattan. Bought some "sensible" shoes (3 inch platforms are FAR more sensible than 5 inch platforms) for walking and a lace romper for sleepy time. Currently sending kisses to the craigslist employment gods. Wish me luck!
